YAY FOR PICTURES!!!!
It's about TIME!!! After being DESPERATE to find out a way to get all my pictures off my camera and onto this blog, I FINALLY came to a solution....
The story: After searching the car, our house, and my parents house high and low for that stupid USB cord that came with the camera so that you can take pictures off of it and put it onto your computer, there was no luck. I was desperate. SO... I started searching the Internet for this cord thinking that SOMEBODY has got to have one. in all of my searching, I found ONE person that had it and was selling it on eBay for 35 buck. PSH... yeah right! I decided to call circuit city where i got my camera to see if they happened to have the cord and if they sale them separately. They didn't and referred me to Ritz Cameras. In my desperate need for SOMETHING, I decided to call Ritz only to find out that in the world of electronics, if your camera is more than 2 years old, you can kiss it goodbye. GOOD LUCK trying to find that one thing you need for it. UGH.... So, again, being desperate, I asked them if there were any other options. They told me about this "card reader" that reads your memory card and then sticks into your computer through the USB. BRILLIANT RIGHT? NOT if you want to go cheep. I had this idea to go to target and get a 5 dollar one. After being all excited and getting home to try it out, it didn't work. PPPPPTHTHTHTHTTHTHTH!!! So i packed it all back up... and went back to target and got my money back, ran across the street and bought the 20 dollar one at Ritz camera. and WALLAH!!!! IT WORKS! I guess it pays off to be desperate sometimes. BLAH! so.... now for the part you all have been waiting for. I will explain as they go!
I will do my best to put them in order....
Picture of CJ and I on his birthday before we took off to the movies.

When CJ left for Georgia for 2 weeks, i took a trip to Utah with my Aunt and a few of her kids. This is Brandon at a store that we stopped at. He is such a character!

This was the night that CJ came home from Georgia. I was so happy to see him. We went to dinner at Famous Dave's.

This is Rose! one of the dogs. We laugh every time we pick her up and just hold her by the waist because she puts her arms to the side and she looks like she has chicken wings.

Kiara and Rose... best dogs in the world.

For SOME reason, Kiara loves CJ so much. she will chose him over me any day. One day, I had walked in the room and Kiara was there, passed out next to CJ all cuddling next to his head. So cute!

So, in December, I had started to get a little sad that there was no snow for Christmas. Its Vegas, of course there is no snow but it was the first time that I didn't have snow for Christmas. I actually love the snow but only to a certain point. as soon as January 1st hits, I want the snow to go away. Anyway, one morning i would up and just happened to look out the window and there was snow. snow on the road, ground, bushes, trees, EVERYWHERE. I couldn't believe it. It snowed all day and all night. It hadn't snowed in Vegas for the past 3o years and the one year that we happened to be here, it came. We brought it with us, And the best part about it is that it went away after a few days and didn't come back. :) Perfect!!!

My Car!

The hammock in the backyard

Never thought you would see a Palm tree with snow on it... hu?

The pathway from our front door to the front of the house.

CJ had put my coat on and I thought it was funny!

Christmas day.... My Jewelry Box.

CJ's camping propane stove.

These are all the games that we got for Christmas this last year.

Christmas day, we drove all the way to Utah so that we could spend time with the family over the weekend. That weekend, on Saturday, We went to the Crapo's Christmas party. Then that afternoon we learned that Kaylin (CJ's cousins wife) was stuck in Salt Lake City for the day while she was trying to get home in Alaska from Texas. We went and had lunch with her as well as Elizabeth. It was so much fun to see her.

Later that night, we went to the Chisholm Family Christmas party (my moms side of the family)

My sister, Ashley and little cousin Taylor

My little brother, Hunter, really wanted to play a game with CJ and had asked him to play tag, and hide and seek. CJ suggested rock, paper, scissors. It was pretty funny to watch Hunter play. He's so cute!.... Both of them. :)
The cutest cousin in the world, Kennedy. She is growing up so fast. Also, uncle Tim (left) and uncle Clint (right)( also Kennedy's dad)

Grandpa.... need i say more? hes a funny man!
The day after my birthday, we had gone over to my cousins Aunt April and Uncle Dan's house. Richard had made me a cake as well as got me a book with blank paper in it so that it would encourage me to start writing again. Michael gave me ten bucks. it was fun. This is me getting ready to blow my candles out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Today was my birthday and it was a good 22nd. I got to sleep in till about 11:30 and then woke up to CJ making me breakfast which was really good. I had some french toast. Today was a pretty lazy day. For dinner, CJ and I and my mom and dad in-law went to Joes Crab Shack. I had some delicious crab. When we got home I opened some gifts. CJ's mom got me 2 round brushes (i have been needing one for years for drying my hair) and a little pouch thing to put my hot straighteners and curling irons in. CJ got me new strings for my guitar and Mike put them on. I am so excited to start playing again. For dessert we had pineapple & cherry cobbler with some vanilla Ice cream.... MMMM. and that is the end of my day. It has been a good day and can not believe that I am 22. I swear it was just a year ago that i graduated from high school.
Also, I would like to say that we still have not found jobs but I do want to apologize for my last post for anybody who read it. I was pretty negative.
Sorry, no pictures. I STILL CAN NOT FIND MY CORD! as soon as i find it, i will post my million pictures that i have taken. :) love you all!!!

A BIT OF FRUSTRATION!!!!
Its been almost 4 months since CJ and I have moved to Nevada. I can not believe how bad the unemployment rate is here. we both thought that we had jobs lined up when we moved here and it turned out not working out. After that not working out, we have sent our resume to countless companies and had several interviews with no luck. Either they decide to downsize instead of hire or we are over qualified or they decide not to hire anybody. It is so frustrating. I don't even know where to begin. If it were not for our in laws, we don't know where we would be right now. They are letting us stay with them for free so we don't have to worry about paying rent. At this point, applying for jobs is confusing. You don't know if you had already applied for that job or not. Ugh.... I have nothing else to say. Only makes it more frustrating.

Christmas, New Years, & Girly Moment
Its been a long time since i have updated anything. It has seemed that I have miss placed the cord to my camera so there are no pictures for now. The holidays went great. We spent Christmas morning here in Henderson with CJ's parents, grandparents, & aunt & uncle, Chuck & Terry and opened presents. It was a small Christmas due to the economy and us not having jobs yet, but it was a memorable one. after we did that, we decided last minute that we were going to drive to Salt Lake and surprise my family. we drove a long 7 hours there. the rest of the week, we spent time with both my mom and my dads side of the family, my family, and performed in a talent show. We sang a song with my family and it was the first time that i was able to experience hearing CJ's full on singing voice. He is VERY good at it and can not wait for the future where we sing together more often although he may fight me on this subject. :)
New Years we spent, again, with CJ's grandparents, Parents, and His Uncle Dan. We toasted with martinelli, and celebrated with a kiss.
Other than that, Its been uneventful. I have a lot of pictures and want to post them so I will when i find the cord. I have a feeling it was left in Salt Lake. We go up this weekend so I will look for it then.
Oh, one last thing..... for those of you who DON'T know.... i am obsessed with the TV show one tree hill. The last episode was 5 weeks ago and they had a 5 week break during the holidays. there is a new episode tomorrow night and i CAN NOT wait. Its been on my mind the last couple days and I just have to have my girly moment and get it out...
aaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

last 2 weeks
So just a quick update.
We did nothing for halloween, boring hu?
CJ left for Georgia on the 2nd of November and he gets back tomorrow. It has been the longest 2 weeks of my life.
I went to Utah and visited my family last weekend. I went friday night and got back tuesday night.
I took my extensions out. For those of you who didnt know.... the long hair was strand by strand extensions. I loved them. I loved the long hair and i miss them but i had them in for 6 months and had them moved up 3 other times. It was time to take them out so my hair is short again.
CJ is doing very well in Georgia and, once again, rising way above and beyond the norm.
Thats about it for now. hopefully life will get more interesting in the future.

PUNKIN' CARVIN'
I have always loved carving pumpkins and I really wanted to do it this year so we went and picked up some pumpkins and carved them. not much to say about it.... but here are some pictures. Halloween is tomorrow! YAY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CJ!
September 28th was CJ's birthday I i tried to plan out the whole day. of course not everything worked out but I tried. I didnt get very many pictures either so... I am sorry. CJ had to leave for work at a quarter to 7 so I got up really Early, like, 5:45, and got out my new electric griddle that we got as a wedding gift and made CJ breakfast in bed. some of his favorites. brown sugar and honey sausage, Cinnamon french toast with, of course, powdered sugar, and over easy eggs. after he got home from work, we headed to dinner at the village pub. Nana and grandpa got to join us as well as his parents. after dinner we went back to the house and opened presents. He got a lot of things that he just really needed. socks, and white undershirts. he also got some brand new tennis balls from his Nana and grandpa and 2 Frisbees from his sister and mom. I also got him some new cologne. He was almost out of his other stuff. I also made him a card from scratch and I was way proud of myself because it looked cool. Its hard to see it in detail but there is a picture of it. After he opened his presents we had some cheese cake that i had made. Nana and grandpa went home and I took him to the movies. It ended up being a good birthday for him.
CJ and his gifts
The card
This is an edit after the post... CJ has been using his tennis balls. but not for the reason that they are intended... no.... he is using them to learn how to juggle! HA HA. I have the picture to prove it!

CRAP, I'VE BEEN TAGGED!
All this time i have had a blog and I hadn't been tagged once. I even avoided commenting on them so that I wouldn't be tag but thanks to my dear cousin Camie, I HAVE NOW BEEN TAGGED. here are the rules i guess...
Here's how you play: Once you've been 'tagged', you have to write a blog of 7 weird / random facts/ habits/goals about yourself. At the end choose 6 people to be tagged, listing their names. You can't tag the person who tagged you, since you can't tag me back - let me know when you've posted your blog so I can see your answers.
1. You know when you are sitting at home during the day and you turn the TV on and the only thing that is on are the Judge shows? YEAH, I like those! i could sit in front of the TV for hours and be entertained by them.
2. I am OBSESSED about the CW TV show ONE TREE HILL! I could probably tell you all about each one of them and tell you about their personalities like they are my best friends. Every Monday, i am sitting in front of that television just waiting for what the next episode has to hold. pathetic, but true.
3. I secretly love to write. I don't ever share it because I feel retarded but if you ask my sister, she thinks I'm really good.
4. I have had a warrant out for my arrest. Yes, It is true! The story: Last summer, I got pulled over up on heber city going 10 over the speed limit. it was right after the city when its 55 but should be 65 and there is nothing around and i thought that it was 65. anyway, i guess I forgot to pay that. I got a letter in the mail saying that i had a warrant. of course i took care of it right away. ha ha
5. I have this weird thing that when i hear about a serial killer, I want to know more than just the story you hear on the news or the radio. I want to know everything, behind the scenes. For some reason, I am so intrigued.
6. My favorite thing to learn about in history when i was in high school was the holocaust. mostly about all the terrible things that they would do to the people and if there was a diary or anything on a survivor, I loved to listen to what they had to say.
7. I have been offered to sing in a studio and record to see if it would take me anywhere but I don't want to do it because I don't really want my life to be that way.

Brents Wedding
Last Sunday we took a trip to California. CJ's cousin, Brent, was getting married so we left, REALLY early in the morning, and drove to California. It was in the northern part of Cali and took us 7 hours to get there. we went to the wedding and then drove home. It was a lot of fun. I finally got the chance to meet Aunt Mary and the new born baby that they have. She is 5 months old and so cute. Emma, their oldest daughter, is 6 and i had suddenly become her best friend. It was our 1 month anniversary and we got to attend and enjoy another wedding. What perfect way to celebrate and bring back what we had done just one month before. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of the bride & Groom!

HONEYMOON
So, I spent about 7 hours on the wedding and reception pictures last night and didn't get to the honeymoon so here i am, adding more pictures. I will explain them as they go.
Right when we started hitting the shops, we had people bombarding us with things they wanted to sale. little kids that were trying to sale bracelets for only a dollar. We had this little boy following us around for 15 minutes and I couldn't find out what he was trying to say to us so instead i just asked if i could have a picture. he nodded. he was so sweet. after he followed us around I finally understood what he was saying. "Spider Monkeys" and he was pointing down the street. We decided that we were going to head that way anyway and when we did... (cont... to next picture)
After the whole thing with my nail we just went back to the boat, had dinner and just enjoyed the rest of the night. That night we got a swan!
We got a view of our boat from our seat at Senior Frogs. I thought that was so cool!
That night, it was another formal night at dinner. This is a picture of our friend Shane dancing with our waiter. It was so funny. I was laughing so hard!

DAY BEFORE THE CRUISE, DAY AFTER THE WEDDING. SEPTEMBER 13TH:
was the longest day of my life. After the wedding, We were told by CJ's dad (who booked our flight) That because of the lovely hurricane Ike, the Dallas Texas Airport was entirely close. our layover was supposed to be there so we had to totally change our flight. We were originally supposed to leave Salt Lake City at 12:30 P.M. but because we had to change our flight with a different airline, we had to leave Salt Lake City at 6:30 in the morning.
That morning, when we went to the airport, we were running a little late due to being exhausted and having a hard time waking up. I had not grabbed the marriage certificate because i did not think that anything was under my new married name. I knew the cruise wasn't and i didn't think that the flight would be. When we got there, we got our tickets and we found out that mike had put my last name as McNichols on the ticket. We had 45 minutes till our flight was going to leave and they don't check your bags in no later than 30 minutes. after arguing with the lady for 10 minutes, CJ finally asked for a supervisor. We sat there trying to find a way to get on this plane with this guy. In the mean time, my sister was on her way bringing the certificate. Finally, the guy agreed to check our bags and he said to wait till she brought it so that we could get through security. we made it JUST in time. What a nightmare...hu?
To make the rest of the day a quicker story, there was a little kid who was sitting in front of us crying the whole 4 hour flight and the mother was doing nothing about it and when she was... she was just slapping him and yelling at him to shut up, we had a 6 hour lay over in Atlanta Georgia, had an annoying guy sitting next to us on the next plane talking about his business and basically degrading us because he found out we were married and thought we were too young, And then 0nce we FINALLY got to our hotel in Miami, we were told that the room was cancelled because they couldn't charge it on my card. Luckily, they had a room for us but it was no long the king size bed that i had reserved. It was 2 full size beds. We were so tired, and grumpy, and hungry by the time we got to our room but we didn't want to leave the room. so we ordered pizza. ha ha. talk about CRAZY!!! SO, that is the end of the day. moving on with the rest of the trip. "sigh"
DAY ONE:
Sunday Sept. 14th. Getting on the boat really was not that bad and once we did, we were pleased! this is a few pictures of us on our balcony with the city behind us.
CJ tried to get a picture of us through the window so that you could see more of the city.
Everyday, after dinner, they would turn down the bed and make a little animal out of a towel. It was soo cool. This was a seal. CUTE HU!
DAY 2:
It was a day at sea so we didn't do much but explore the boat and figure out where things were. It was one of the 2 days that was a formal night at dinner so here we are, dressed up for dinner. It was fun. The first 2 days that we were there, we were sitting at a table with just the 2 of us and we wanted to sit at a table with people. When the head guy came and asked us if we were happy with the table we asked him if there was a way that we could sit at a table with some more couples. He said yes and the rest of the trip, we were sitting with a group of couples that were close to our age and we became really close. Mandy & Shane and Joey & Steph. We still talk to Mandy & Shane all the time and are really hoping that we are able to visit them soon. :)
That night we got an elephant!
DAY 3:
Day three we got to go to our first port. GRAND CAYMAN!
The water was so blue. All we did at this port was hang out at the beach. It was perfect.
After we went to the beach, we stopped at margaritaville and got something to eat.
This is what the little boats looked like that got us from the boat to shore and back on the boat.
The name of our ship was Carnival Valor. It was a really big boat and i got lost all the time. ha ha
That night we got a Dog.
DAY 4:
We were at port (Roatan) really early that morning but we were not ready to go on shore yet. CJ played in a ping pong tournament and actually got really far in it. It was fun to watch! For those of you family members who think that CJ is violent when he plays ping pong... He hit the girl that was keeping score. HA HA! (You can see her in the background, far right with the blue pants on)
Just being goofy.
When we got on the port, there were these people dressed up in these really weird costumes. They were dancing and singing and it was really cool to watch.
These were some guys that were playing these instruments. It sounded really cool. The old man in the middle was so happy and had this biggest toothless smile in the world. HA HA. it was great!
We saw the monkeys. They were so stinking cute. This little guy ended up being so scared that climbed around my torso a few times and ended up on my head but we did not get a picture of it. it was cute!
After being bugged by so many people, we ran into this really nice guy and said that he would take us on a 2 hour tour, for 15 dollars each, so we did it. it was a nice little tour. not much to see in the little island. The last stop that we went to was this cute little restaurant that was on the beach. it was called Barefoot Cafe or something like that. It was all outdoors with just a roof that covered it up made out of basically just grass. I was hungry and craving crab so... We got the KING crab and MAN was it king! they put it in front of us and i could not believe how big it was. The shell had to of been at least half an inch thick. Me, being retarded like I am, tried to break the shell myself. I had my nails done for the wedding and when i tried to break it, my finger slipped and ripped my entire nail off. NOT just the fake nail, but took the real one with it. There is no words to describe the pain. i ate, maybe, half the crab and then we had to go. It was just hurting way too bad. I just wanted to get back on the boat and get it taken care of. my nail is STILL trying to grow back.
After the whole thing with my nail we just went back to the boat, had dinner and just enjoyed the rest of the night. That night we got a swan!
DAY 5:
Belize. This was probably my favorite port. We actually did an excursion and we had so much fun with it. We went on a horse back ride through the jungle. We got a lot of pictures bot not a lot came through of things that we saw. We saw TONS of termite nests in the trees EVERYWHERE, We saw a monkey that sounded like a bore or a wild hog. It growled in a way that you don't think a monkey would growl. We saw a real live wild baby armadillo, and we saw a cool little snake in a bush. It was so much fun and so beautiful. CJ's horse was name rascal...

My horses name was Apache
After we went on our horse tour, there was a meal that was included in our tour and in the meal we had some Belize favorites (just like pizza is America's favorite) We had potato salad, rice, beans, some kinda of chicken, something else, i cant remember, papaya (which really wasn't that good) and fried plantains (spelling?) plantains are like bananas. It was so good. This is the little restaurant that we ate in.

Day 6:
Cozumel. wasn't my favorite port. we didn't stay that long. we just walked around the shops and went to senior frogs and had some chips and guacamole. This was the boat right after we got off the port. its HUGE!!!

I don't know how to flip this picture so you may need to tilt your head but i had to show it. It is NOT a statue. ITS A REAL MAN!!!! he spray painted himself in gold and stands on that gold.... thing.... and then asks for money if you take his picture.

We got a view of our boat from our seat at Senior Frogs. I thought that was so cool!
That night, it was another formal night at dinner. This is a picture of our friend Shane dancing with our waiter. It was so funny. I was laughing so hard!
Shane & Mandy! They were on their honeymoon too and we got married the same day! how cute is that! We miss them so much.

Joey and Steph! They lived in florida and are now moving to california. We hope to be able to see them soon too.

And us, again, all dressed up.
